About the role#
DMA is hiring a Property Tax Intern for our Strategic Valuation Services team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting tax managers and directors during the property tax assessment review process. You will work on projects that directly support our positions with state and local taxing authorities.
What you'll do#
- Support tax managers and directors with property tax assessment reviews, including preparing deliverables for appeals and hearings.
- Create reports and analysis to support our tax positions.
- Review and submit client status reports and prepare Letters of Findings.
- Assist the business development team in scoping and developing customized client solutions.
- Research state and local tax issues while monitoring economic trends and market activity.
- Participate in business development research and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace).
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to organize tasks, perform research, and interact effectively with team members.
- Capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
