About the role#
Donaldson is seeking a Product Management Intern to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role focuses on evaluating the performance of newly launched products through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration. You will gain hands-on experience by monitoring key performance indicators, auditing product materials, and providing insights that help shape future product strategies. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Analyze sales performance of new products against forecasts and business objectives.
- Conduct audits of new product release parts to measure launch effectiveness.
- Monitor KPIs including revenue, unit sales, customer adoption, and profitability.
- Compare actual launch data to pre-launch projections and requirements.
- Generate recommendations based on performance findings for post-launch reviews.
- Assist Product Managers in understanding market response and customer demand.
- Collaborate with Marketing to review and refresh product brochures and digital content.
- Verify specifications, part numbers, and positioning across marketing materials.
- Maintain and update product part lists for catalogs and sales tools.
- Develop and validate product cross-reference guides.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a sophomore or second-year student in an accredited degree program.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- A minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 cumulative GPA.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- A desire to build a career in Product Management and strengthen data analysis skills.
- Ability to work as an energetic self-starter.
Location & details#
- Location: Bloomington, Minnesota.
- Modality: On-site.
- Duration: 10-12 weeks.
- Compensation: $23.00-25.00 per hour, depending on graduation date and major.
- Sponsorship: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
