About the role#
We are looking for a detail-oriented Energy Market Analyst Intern to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. You will work directly with senior analysts to build energy analytics products and gain exposure to live infrastructure data. This role requires independent work and critical thinking to navigate complex market systems. This is a paid, on-site position with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Analyze commodity volumes, production, prices, contract data, and flow dynamics.
- Prepare monthly reports that detail regional supply and demand.
- Create data visualizations for complex supply and demand systems.
- Develop price hub forecasts and new methodologies.
- Build new products and tools for data analysis and manipulation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
- Demonstrated analytical ability through coursework, projects, or previous internships.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Exposure to SQL or relational databases.
- Exposure to Python or similar programming languages.
