About the role#
EdgeConneX is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Herndon, Virginia. You will report to a Senior Accountant and receive mentorship from the Senior Director and Assistant Controller.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and record journal entries in the NetSuite ERP system.
- Assist with research, data entry, and the maintenance of financial records.
- Help the team reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Support the development and implementation of process improvements, new controls, and automation efforts.
- Observe accounting professionals to gain a broad overview of various accounting functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Accounting, with Junior or Senior credit status.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work both independently and cooperatively with a team.
