About the role#
As a Quality Assurance Intern for Summer 2027, you will join the team at our manufacturing plant in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This role focuses on the oversight of manufacturing and distribution for commercial products. You will gain experience in areas including Quality Management Systems, pharmaceutical products, and audits while working in a regulated environment.
What you'll do#
- Define, measure, analyze, and improve processes within the quality organization.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support inspection readiness, investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
- Assist with production and analytical processes to ensure they meet Sterility Assurance standards.
- Support activities related to the oversight of manufacturing and distribution.
- Participate in study design improvement processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program.
- A concentration in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
- The term runs from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- The role requires 10% travel to the corporate facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, for opening and closing events.
