    About the role#

    As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work with experienced engineers to develop hardware products. You will have a mentor to guide you through your project and work term. This role offers exposure to the full product development cycle, including conceptual design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing production.

    What you'll do#

    • Learn professional techniques for mechanical design and analysis, heat transfer, shock and vibration effects, and product validation.
    • Work with R&D hardware and software teams.
    • Conduct research to complete assigned projects.
    • Diagnose and debug technical challenges.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar STEM field, with at least sophomore standing.
    • Knowledge of mechanical design principles, including heat transfer, tolerance analysis, design of experiments, and electromechanical design.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Creo Parametric.
    • Familiarity with metal and plastic processing, design for manufacturability, and electronics manufacturing.
    • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a team.
