About the role#
ENGIE is hiring an intern for the Health and Safety team in Iowa City. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
You will work directly with the safety team to maintain accurate health and safety records. Your daily tasks include conducting workplace inspections and helping to generate safety reports. You will also support the team during safety training sessions.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Public Health, Health Administration, Environmental Engineering, Nursing, or Human Resources. You should have a working knowledge of health and safety standards and an understanding of regulatory compliance. The role requires the ability to conduct safety audits and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with the team.
