About the role#
We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Finance team for a one-year internship. This role focuses primarily on collections, which will make up about 90% of your work. You will help manage outstanding invoices and support our treasury operations. Treasury tasks will be introduced gradually once you are familiar with our business processes and clients. You will work closely with our sales and finance teams to manage payments and improve our internal workflows.
What you'll do#
- Follow up on unpaid invoices with clients.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams via email and phone.
- Prepare aging reports and analyze overdue accounts.
- Reconcile old accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Resolve payment issues and disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities.
- Support treasury reporting and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with cash allocation and various treasury projects.
- Contribute to process improvements, including initiatives involving AI and automation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Finance or Business Administration program.
- Ability to learn quickly and work proactively.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English.
- Comfort speaking with clients and handling direct conversations.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Interest in AI, automation, and optimizing work methods.
- Previous experience in customer service is an asset.
