About the role#
EquipmentShare is looking for an engineering student to join our team at the home office in Columbia, Missouri. This is a paid internship opportunity available for the Fall 2026 term, with the potential to extend through Winter 2027 and Summer 2027. You will work on-site as part of our full-time engineering staff.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of embedded hardware and firmware.
- Create automated tests to verify that firmware meets project requirements.
- Develop automated software and tools to support various internal company groups.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with Creo experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and use mechanical hand tools or power tools for hardware installation.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a self-motivated approach to new challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and reliable transportation.
