About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our Uptime Management Center team in Columbia, Missouri. This internship takes place during the Summer of 2026. You will work on-site at our headquarters from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Monitor telematics and equipment performance data.
- Analyze uptime and downtime trends.
- Maintain dashboards and recurring reports for our leadership and operations teams.
- Clean and validate data to ensure quality.
- Identify patterns that indicate maintenance needs.
- Support predictive and preventive maintenance analytics initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with Python or R through coursework or projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail when working with large datasets.
- Willingness to learn SQL and data visualization tools.
