    About the role#

    This is a 12-week paid internship within the Networks Domain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. You will work alongside EHS professionals to support safety practices, regulatory compliance, and environmental initiatives across cellular and radio access network (RAN) sites and office locations. This role is full-time and based on-site in Plano, Texas, starting May 25, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Support EHS policies, programs, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
    • Assist with workplace inspections, safety observations, audits, and risk assessments.
    • Help identify hazards and track corrective actions.
    • Support job hazard analyses, method-of-procedure reviews, and safe-work planning.
    • Review EHS documentation, training records, permits, and work authorizations for contractors and service delivery partners.
    • Assist with incident, near-miss, and hazard investigations.
    • Prepare safety communications, site orientations, toolbox talks, and reports.
    • Support environmental activities including waste management, spill prevention, and recycling.
    • Monitor higher-risk activities such as electrical work, working at heights, lifting, and construction.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree program in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • A minimum 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • A basic understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, incident prevention, or safety-management principles.
    • Ability to work in various operational environments, including RAN sites and customer locations.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

    • Location: Plano, Texas (On-site).
    • Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
    • Sponsorship: This position does not offer visa sponsorship or support for F-1 students working on CPT or EAD.
