About the role#
ESAB is hiring a Logistics Support Intern to join our team in Mississauga. This is a paid, full-time internship on a rolling basis. You will work on-site to assist with supply chain operations and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting and replenishment.
- Track purchase orders and support procurement processes.
- Analyze supply chain data to create reports on performance metrics.
- Communicate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and master data.
- Participate in projects focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Assist with demand planning and production scheduling as needed.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
- Familiarity with Power BI or ERP systems is an asset.
