About the role#
This internship focuses on the design, development, and deployment of ML system software for rack-scale systems. You will work on network performance, telemetry pipelines, and system-level health analysis. The team handles software framework deployment, hardware validation, and the maintenance of secure, performant systems for data center scale ML workloads.
What you'll do#
- Build ML system software for rack-scale operations.

What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of hardware/software co-design.
- Experience with Linux internals, kernel development, or driver debugging is a plus.
- Familiarity with hardware diagnostics, server virtualization, or CI/CD pipelines is helpful.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 12-week paid internship running from June to August 2026.
- The role is based on-site in San Jose, California.
- Housing support is available for those relocating.
- Daily lunch and dinner are provided in the office.
