About the role#
As an Electrical Platform Intern, you will join the team responsible for building the full-stack system that supports Etched silicon, from PCB to rack. You will work on both hands-on product design and the development of design and validation infrastructure. This role involves collaborating across mechanical and electrical engineering to design high-power ASIC systems.
What you'll do#
- Design boards that support new systems and silicon.
- Participate in the full design and validation cycle.
- Work across mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
What you'll need#
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building real mechanical systems, boards, or other hands-on projects.
- Knowledge of the board design cycle, high-speed interconnects, power delivery, and system integration.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid 12-week internship taking place from June to August 2026.
- The role is based on-site at our office in San Jose, California.
- The program includes direct mentorship from engineers, daily lunch and dinner in the office, and housing support for those relocating.
