About the role#
Evonik offers a 12-week Summer Professional Enrichment program for undergraduate students. This internship provides hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing and operations. You will work on practical technical projects while gaining exposure to environmental health and safety standards. The program includes opportunities to network with the North American Leadership Team and connect with peers through professional development series.
What you'll do#
- Apply academic knowledge to technical projects within manufacturing, operations, or environmental health and safety.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on regional group projects.
- Network with professionals and participate in internal resource groups to build your career.
- Contribute to site-specific tasks such as process updates, technical drawing reviews, or research and development activities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Ability to relocate to any of our site locations across the United States.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
