About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to explore the commercial banking segment at F.N.B. Corporation, with a primary focus on credit analysis and underwriting. You will apply your academic knowledge of finance and business to real-world scenarios while gaining hands-on experience in a professional banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in credit and systems training.
- Work alongside credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders to support the administration and growth of the commercial portfolio.
- Shadow commercial lenders and business partners during outside business calls.
- Interact with various business partners, including Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, and Business Banking.
- Collaborate with Commercial Administration management, including regional executives and market managers.
- Complete project assignments in conjunction with your rotations.
- Attend scheduled events and training sessions for summer interns.
What you'll need#
- You must be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States. F.N.B. Corporation does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
