    About the role#

    The Process Engineering Co-op supports our manufacturing operations in Lebanon, Ohio. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with production personnel to improve capacity, material flow, and productivity. This role is a cooperative learning experience that alternates work semesters with your school schedule.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with shop floor improvements and the implementation of manufacturing projects.
    • Manage specific projects focused on 5S, process improvement, and factory flow.
    • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to design and build fixtures and shop floor aids.
    • Conduct time studies and assist in the management of time standards.
    • Solve problems on the floor and in office processes using the PDCA cycle.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
    • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
    • Interest in lean manufacturing, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement.
    • Ability to multi-task and a desire for hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Lebanon, Ohio.
    • You will frequently work around moving vehicles and must be able to traverse the production facility.
    • Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, climb short ladders, and work with hands in various positions.
