About the role#
As a Digital Transformation Intern, you will gain insight into how a wholesale bank functions. You will observe how loans are made, how collateral is managed, and how the bank influences the mortgage lending business. You will assist with data-driven activities that impact financial operational processes and work to improve overall efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, and develop data and reports to support various departments. This includes creating dashboards and monitoring risks related to credit, collateral, and operations.
- Meet with business units to learn their processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Build, automate, and support data reports, metrics, and analytics.
- Problem-solve to simplify processes, minimize errors, and automate manual tasks using technology.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, data science, computer science, or engineering. Students in technical fields should have some coursework in economics or finance, and vice versa.
- A demonstrated interest in using technology to solve problems.
- Experience working with large and complex data sets.
- Proficiency in creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of SQL query language, VBA, and SSRS report builder.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to conduct research to uncover solutions.

- This internship is based on-site in Irving, Texas.
- The term is for Fall 2026.
- This is a paid, full-time position requiring 29 hours per week.
