About the role#
We are looking for a Co-op to join our Proteomics team. You will contribute to the development of our Integromyx and Perturb-seq platforms. This role offers hands-on experience across full mass spectrometry-based proteomics workflows. You will work within a cross-functional team and contribute to our research from day one.
What you'll do#
- Set up, maintain, and operate Orbitrap mass spectrometry and associated liquid chromatography systems.
- Maintain mammalian cell cultures, including preparing growth media and expanding cells for experiments.
- Execute proteomics sample preparation workflows, such as protein extraction, fractionation, and LC-MS analysis.
- Use laboratory automation for sample preparation and processing.
- Contribute to proteomics and chemoproteomics experiments and support data analysis.
- Present findings in team meetings and maintain electronic lab notebook records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. or M.S. program in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Coursework or hands-on laboratory experience in chemical biology, liquid chromatography, or mass spectrometry.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques, particularly mass spectrometry.
- Experience with liquid chromatography sample preparation and purification.
- Familiarity with R or Python.

- This position is based on-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- The role is full-time and paid.
- This is a rolling term engagement.
