About the role#
As an Office Coordinator Co-Op, you will ensure our workplace functions efficiently. This role involves managing daily operations, supporting our leadership team, and coordinating internal events. You will serve as a primary contact for employees and visitors while working across various departments to maintain a productive office environment.
What you'll do#
- Keep the office running by managing supplies, the pantry, mail, and shared equipment.
- Act as a point of contact for IT, Facilities, and building management to address maintenance or workplace issues.
- Manage relationships with vendors for services and catering, while identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
- Assist the leadership team with travel arrangements and scheduling as needed.
- Plan and execute employee events, including celebrations and all-hands meetings, from start to finish.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program focused on Business, Finance, Accounting, or Operations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on calendar and spreadsheet management.
- Prior experience in an office or administrative setting through a previous internship or part-time role.
- Coursework in accounting, financial analysis, or business operations is a plus.

- Location: Somerville, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour.
- Note: This is a short-term engagement. It is not eligible for health and welfare benefits, though retirement benefits may be available after completing a set number of hours.
