About the role#
FSB Architects + Engineers offers a summer internship for students interested in structural engineering. You will work alongside licensed engineers and designers on active projects. This role provides exposure to structural systems for complex facilities, from initial concepts through construction.
What you'll do#
- Assist with structural design, analysis, modeling, and documentation.
- Support the analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems.
- Perform basic structural calculations and help size beams, columns, and foundations.
- Develop structural plans, details, sections, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with architecture, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection teams.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or a related engineering program.
- Ability to work on site in Oklahoma City for the full summer term.
- Commitment of approximately 40 hours per week.
- Basic familiarity with Revit or structural analysis and design software is preferred.
