About the role#
As a Data Center Quality Inspector Intern, you provide quality control services for our clients. You ensure that electrical equipment is installed safely and functions correctly. This role requires travel and involves working on-site at data centers.
What you'll do#
- Inspect electrical distribution components, including switchgear, standby generators, and protective relays.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Prepare daily narratives, time tracking logs, and special inspection reports.
- Submit Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requests.
- Review and approve team reports.
- Monitor sites to ensure compliance with company and safety requirements.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or Physics is preferred.
- Two years of experience inspecting, testing, commissioning, or operating electrical distribution systems.
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
- Commercial or naval nuclear experience is strongly desired.
