About the role#
The Finance Leadership Development Internship is designed for students graduating in 2028 who are pursuing degrees in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics. As an intern, you will join the Finance team to gain hands-on experience across various functions, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Strategy, Treasury, and Investor Relations. This role provides exposure to senior leadership and executive management while you contribute to cross-functional project teams.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with different functions within the Gartner finance organization.
- Gain a broad understanding of the company's business units and operations.
- Work on designing and implementing solutions for complex global business challenges.
- Engage with senior finance and business unit leaders.
- Build a professional network of contacts throughout the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Strong financial modeling, data analytics, and technical skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems in ambiguous environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs for business decisions.
