About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in Environmental Health and Safety within the biotechnology sector. You will support the Industrial Hygiene and Chemical Hygiene programs while working on technical research and various safety initiatives. The role involves a final presentation of your work at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Assist program managers with technical and administrative support.
- Conduct quantitative industrial hygiene exposure assessments, focusing on airborne chemical and pharmaceutical hazards.
- Manage and analyze exposure monitoring data using Cority IH Module software.
- Contribute to EH&S projects, training materials, and continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Chemistry, Biology, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August 2027.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old and independently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
