About the role#
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP is seeking a Summer Associate for its Cyber/Technology Litigation and Insurance practice group in Chicago. This role provides hands-on experience in complex litigation, including cases involving cybersecurity incidents, data privacy, software disputes, and intellectual property. You will work directly with partners and associates on high-stakes matters for leading companies.
What you'll do#
- Assist in representing clients across various litigation matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys on complex litigation phases.
- Prepare cases for hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Handle technology-driven business conflicts.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of May 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.60.
- Active membership on a law review or journal.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated interest in litigation, cybersecurity, data privacy, insurance coverage, or technology-related legal issues.
