About the role#
This internship is part of the Grainger Technology Group. You will join the Digital Experience Analytics team for a 10-week summer program. You will work on projects that inform features and functions for our digital channels, including our website and mobile app. You will act as a full member of the team, contributing to real business outcomes and learning how data influences product and technology strategy.
What you'll do#
- Analyze customer experience across digital channels to find new opportunities.
- Gather, clean, explore, and analyze data from large ecosystems.
- Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations to share insights with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior analytics team members to understand business needs.
- Present your work and impact to technology leaders at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- General knowledge of analytics and an interest in digital customer behavior.
- Experience analyzing datasets using tools like Power BI or Excel.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
