About the role#
This Business Analyst position is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You will act as a bridge between our software developers and our public sector clients. This role requires you to wear many hats, from technical problem solving to client consulting. You should be comfortable with approximately 10-15% travel to meet with colleagues and clients.
What you'll do#
- Solve complex problems by analyzing calculations, investigating bugs, and proposing new processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to provide direct support to clients.
- Prioritize functionality requests and bug fixes for the development team using our ticketing system.
- Write technical specifications to guide developers on software changes.
- Test new software features in a beta environment to ensure they meet requirements.
- Coordinate software implementations for new clients and configure tools to fit their business processes.
- Train clients on how to use our software and incorporate new features.
What you'll need#
- Strong academic performance in fields such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, Operations Management, or Mathematics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain complex details clearly.
- Experience in problem solving and working with technical specifications.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Dedication to learning and using new software applications.

- This position is fully remote within the United States.
- Employees may also choose to work from our headquarters in Pittsburgh.
