About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on end-to-end solutions for complex systems. This role involves more than just coding. You will identify system improvements and help clients overcome difficult challenges using current architectural approaches and tools. You will ensure that team solutions align with the current operating environment while considering future functionality and enhancements.
What you'll do#
- Develop software and systems from vision to production ready.
- Learn and apply new tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
- Create technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Build skills outside of traditional software development.
What you'll need#
- Experience building applications using Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control software like Gitlab or Github.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering, with a graduation date by Summer 2028.
- Ability to work on-site.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Model and Simulation technologies, or experience working with the DOW is a plus.
