About the role#
As an Enterprise Assurance Services Intern, you will work at the intersection of assurance, technology, and compliance. You will join a team that delivers consulting, attestation, and audit services to a variety of public and private clients. This role provides hands-on experience in evaluating governance, risk management, and internal controls.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning and executing client engagements by understanding client objectives, processes, risks, and control environments.
- Evaluate and test business process controls, information technology controls, and automated controls.
- Support IT audit, SOC reporting, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan audit engagements.
- Use data analytics tools and AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency and identify insights.
- Draft workpapers, reports, client communications, and other deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Interest in pursuing professional certifications, such as CPA, CISA, or CIA.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week at a firm office or client site.
- Status: Full-time and paid internship.
