About the role#
Grubb Properties is seeking a Real Estate Finance Intern to join our finance team for an 8-week summer program. This role provides hands-on experience in the financial operations of a vertically integrated real estate firm. You will work alongside our professionals to support loan sourcing, asset management, and project analysis.
What you'll do#
- Source loans for real estate development, acquisition, and refinancing.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of loan closings.
- Evaluate the performance of real estate projects through financial analysis.
- Prepare financial statements and cash flow analyses.
- Conduct commercial real estate appraisals and valuation.
- Support property dispositions and assist with financial reporting requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in finance, real estate, accounting, or business administration.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- High attention to detail and an interest in numbers.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
