About the role#
As an intern in the Energy Providers practice, you will work with experienced professionals to deliver consulting projects. You will support our clients as they navigate changes in the energy sector, including shifting demand and new policy requirements. This role involves working from Guidehouse offices or client sites to produce high-quality deliverables that drive outcomes for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Create and present high-quality deliverables to support project workstreams.
- Conduct research and analysis, including market research, benchmarking, and economic modeling.
- Apply critical thinking to identify issues and develop solutions that align with client goals.
- Engage in documentation and collaborate with delivery teams on project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Status as a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
- Ability to start in Summer 2027.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- This position requires working on-site at a Guidehouse office or a client location.
- Available locations include Atlanta, GA; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Folsom, CA; Arlington, VA; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Boulder, CO; and Boston, MA.
