About the role#
Baringa is seeking Summer Interns to join the Commodities & Energy Trading team in Houston for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience working on high-impact strategic engagements within the energy and natural resources sector. You will work alongside our team to help clients navigate complex trading environments, price volatility, and evolving market demands.
What you'll do#
- Support trading business transformation engagements, including target operating model design and change management.
- Perform commercial and trading strategy analysis, including portfolio and value-chain strategy.
- Assist in mergers and acquisitions transaction and integration strategy.
- Conduct financial performance and risk management analysis.
- Contribute to ETRM and Bid-to-Bill advisory and client-side implementation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a junior year of an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
- A substantive background in management or strategy consulting.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to commute to client sites within the Houston Metroplex and the Baringa Houston office.
- Eligibility to work in the US without immigration sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7th to July 30th).

- Compensation: $1,200 per week.
