About the role#
We are looking for a Design Engineer Intern to help shape, design, and build high-craft product experiences. This role sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering. You will contribute to key user-facing surfaces from early concept through final implementation. This is a high-impact role where you will develop your product judgment, interaction design instincts, and frontend skills while working on problems that matter.
What you'll do#
- Design and build polished, user-facing product experiences.
- Contribute to features end to end, from UX exploration through implementation.
- Use layout, interaction design, and motion to make workflows intuitive.
- Contribute to our design system, component library, and frontend patterns.
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering to turn ideas into simple, high-quality experiences.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your final year of study in design, computer science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development.
- Some exposure to design systems, component libraries, or reusable frontend patterns.
- A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate both design sensibility and frontend execution.
- Care for craft beyond the obvious.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $8,000 to $10,000 per month.
- Duration: Four-month, full-time internship.
