About the role#
HARMAN's Software Experiences Business Unit builds products that connect people to music, including the Roon platform. As an intern, you will join our product teams to help us understand our users. You will conduct competitive and user research, sit in on daily team meetings, and present your findings to help shape product decisions. This is a paid, part-time internship that typically lasts 12 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Track and analyze competitors and adjacent products to identify feature gaps and emerging trends.
- Maintain a competitive tracker covering feature releases and notable launches.
- Recruit and interview users aged 16 to 25 to surface listening habits and unmet needs.
- Support structured usability and concept testing on new features and prototypes.
- Own one self-directed research project and present recommendations to the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution.
- Completed sophomore year or later.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communications, or Media Studies.

- This is a remote role based in the United States.
- This is a part-time position, typically up to 20 hours per week.
