About the role#
Harper College is hiring a Student Aide for the Fashion program. This role involves supporting lab and classroom operations. You will report to the FAS Lab Assistant for daily tasks and instructions.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Fashion program and its students with lab and classroom duties.
- Monitor student activity in the lab based on a set of rules and expectations.
- Organize and clean the lab and classroom facilities.
- Manage inventory and report supply needs to the FAS Lab Assistant.
- Handle mail, correspondence, supply delivery, and equipment maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Harper College student, taking at least 6 credits per semester (3 credits for the summer semester).
- Proficiency with computers and standard office software, including file and folder management.
- Ability to safely lift at least 25 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and a conscientious approach to tasks.
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional attitude when interacting with students.
