About the role#
Healthpeak Properties offers a 10-week Summer Analyst program for students interested in real estate investing. You will work directly with the Investments team on life science, medical office, and senior housing projects. This role involves exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, developments, and portfolio management. You will work alongside professionals with backgrounds in investment banking and private equity.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities including joint ventures and debt transactions.
- Perform underwriting and cash flow analysis for various deal types.
- Build and refine financial models using Excel and Argus.
- Support due diligence efforts and conduct market research.
- Prepare materials for internal investment committee meetings and senior leadership presentations.
- Collaborate with asset management, development, legal, and finance teams.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior status with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to travel for property tours.
