About the role#
The Internal Audit Intern supports our team with various tasks and projects. This is a part-time position requiring 12 to 16 hours per week. We offer a rolling start date with the potential to move to a full-time schedule during the summer months.
What you'll do#
- Execute quarterly sales cutoff procedures to ensure equipment revenue is recorded in the correct period.
- Assist with substantive procedures to support the external auditor year-end audit.
- Help execute financial and SOX compliance audit projects.
- Document and discuss audit results with audit managers.
- Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting or a related field.
- High school education or vocational training.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage time effectively and plan activities.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
Location & details#
This role is fully remote and open to candidates located in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. This is a paid internship.
