About the role#
The Auditing Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints offers a paid internship for students during the Summer of 2027. This role provides exposure to the financial operations, controls, and internal audits of a global organization. What you'll do#
- Receive assignments from supervising staff and complete them under direct review.
- Meet rigid and challenging deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Work in harmony with team members to collaborate on solutions.
- Apply independence, tact, and diplomacy in your daily work.
- Exercise sound judgment regarding Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and protocol.
- Travel domestically or internationally as required by audit engagements.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 3 years of college coursework in accounting or data science.
- Current enrollment in an educational institution or graduation within the last year.
- Strong analytical, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to set and accomplish personal and engagement goals.
- Energy to focus on enhancing and optimizing Church entities.
- Membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worthiness to hold a temple recommend.
- Preference is given to Master of Accountancy candidates.
