About the role#
We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator Intern to join our marketing team. This is a hands-on opportunity to build experience while contributing to our mission of helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently at home. This role is ideal for students studying Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
What you'll do#
- Draft and design daily and weekly posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Produce caregiver spotlights and care tips content to build community trust.
- Assist with filming and editing short-form reels and behind-the-scenes clips.
- Use social media management tools to plan and publish content.
- Monitor comments and messages and flag responses for the team.
- Track trends, competitor content, and hashtag performance.
- Pull weekly platform reports and summarize key metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- An active personal presence on at least two major social media platforms.
- Basic experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Express.
- A clear, warm writing style with the ability to shift between professional and conversational tones.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to pitch ideas.
- Comfort working with sensitive topics and respecting privacy guidelines.
- Bonus qualifications include experience with short-form video and photography skills or an eye for composition.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (on-site for content shoots; remote for planning and scheduling).
- Commitment: 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Duration: 12 to 16 weeks.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
