About the role#
The Corporate Development team works directly with the CEO and CFO to manage strategic acquisitions and operational projects. As an intern, you will contribute to the firm's growth strategy by supporting deal execution and internal initiatives. This role requires working with senior management and various business line heads across the firm.
What you'll do#
- Assist with acquisition-related activities and special projects.
- Support origination efforts by building acquisition target profiles and conducting industry evaluations.
- Track pipeline activities and maintain the team CRM database.
- Analyze precedent transactions to support post-acquisition performance tracking.
- Create reports and presentations for management during deal execution.
- Develop processes, templates, and databases to improve team efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a Bachelor degree program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Previous professional internship experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and a working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work as a self-starter.
