About the role#
Houlihan Lokey is seeking an intern to support the Corporate Development team. This team reports to the CEO and CFO and works with business line heads to execute global acquisitions and drive operational efficiency. You will contribute to strategic initiatives and prepare presentations for senior management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with acquisition-related activities and special projects.
- Support origination efforts by researching acquisition targets and maintaining the CRM database.
- Track post-acquisition performance by analyzing precedent transactions and creating management reports.
- Develop and manage databases, templates, and processes to improve team productivity.
What you'll need#
- Junior or senior standing in a Bachelor’s degree program, ideally in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Proficient skills in Excel, along with a working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
- Basic understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and accounting principles.
- Strong work ethic and a self-starter mindset.
- Previous professional internship experience is preferred.
- A desire to pursue a career in investment banking or finance is preferred.
