About the role#
This is a 10 to 12-week summer internship program based in Shelton, Connecticut. You will support the monthly close and quarterly SEC reporting processes. This involves reviewing financial reporting files, documentation, and supporting schedules. You will also help improve existing processes by updating workflows and finding ways to streamline manual tasks.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world financial projects.
- Develop technical skills relevant to your major.
- Work with colleagues in a professional team environment.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
- Assist co-workers with various assignments as needed.
- Gain insight into the manufacturing industry through the lens of Hubbell.
- Build planning and organizational skills.
- Deliver a final presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university from May through August 2027.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

- Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, depending on academic standing and graduation date.
