About the role#
Humanetics is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for a rolling, full-time, on-site position in Huron, Ohio. This role focuses on entry-level engineering projects and supports our production operations. At the end of the internship, you will prepare and present a summary of your experience to our management team.
What you'll do#
- Lead and deploy best practices across manufacturing processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work to reduce manufacturing costs.
- Improve the flow of materials through the facility.
- Set up and manage cycle times.
What you'll need#
- You must hold a 2-year technical degree or be actively pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- A basic understanding of CAD software.
- Familiarity with the engineering change process is preferred.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is preferred.
