    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 within the Digital Data Networks business unit. You will work alongside experienced engineers on connector development projects. The program runs for 10 to 12 weeks and provides exposure to various manufacturing processes and engineering workflows.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform mechanical design using Computer Aided Design and Finite Element Analysis.
    • Coordinate with the machine shop, additive manufacturing lab, and test lab to validate your designs.
    • Conduct and coordinate mechanical product testing.
    • Gain insight into manufacturing processes, including stamping, forming, plating, molding, and machining.

    What you'll need#

    • A high school diploma or GED.
    • Current enrollment in or pursuit of a BA, BS, MA, or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
    • Authorization to work in the U.S.
    • Prior internship experience or completion of a major project is preferred.

    • This role is based in Middletown, Pennsylvania.
    • The work modality is hybrid.
