About the role#
This internship provides a 360-degree look at marketing by blending digital strategy with local, physical outreach. You will work with the Area Developer to increase league awareness and drive registrations across Delaware. This is an unpaid position, though college credit is available upon request.
What you'll do#
- Draft weekly community emails and social media posts.
- Research local events, festivals, and school functions to identify outreach opportunities.
- Monitor digital outreach performance and suggest new ways to connect with local parents.
- Call potential members who have expressed interest in our programs.
- Distribute flyers to local businesses and key stakeholders.
- Place and maintain road signs throughout the territory.
- Represent the company at in-person events and answer questions from families.
- Set up on-site marketing displays and organize equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited university or college, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Sports Management.
- Residency in Delaware with a strong knowledge of the local community.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to events and marketing sites.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- An outgoing, proactive personality and comfort speaking with parents and community leaders.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Middletown, Delaware.
- The work is on-site and requires travel within the local territory.
- Hours are flexible but include occasional weekend events and gameday activations.
