About the role#
As a Community Development Intern at ICCU, you will help our team plan and execute events that connect us with our members. You will gain experience in event production, communication, and business administration while working directly with our Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
- Help plan, organize, and execute various events.
- Maintain accurate records by updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
- Travel locally as part of your event duties.
What you'll need#
- A valid Driver's License, as this role involves driving a company vehicle.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational habits.
- Physical ability to lift 70-80 pounds of equipment, such as tables, coolers, or the money machine.
- Ability to stand for long periods and operate office equipment.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.

- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Tucson, Arizona.
- The role is on-site and follows a rolling term.
