About the role#
As a Community Development Intern at ICCU, you will help our team engage with the community. You will gain hands-on experience in event production, communication, and business administration. This role involves working alongside our team to plan and run various events.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
- Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of events.
- Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
- Lift and move equipment weighing up to 80 pounds, such as tables, coolers, and the money machine.
- Travel locally as required for event support.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Human Resources.
- A valid Driver's License, as this position requires driving.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational habits.
- Ability to stand for long periods and operate basic office machines.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
