About the role#
ICCU is looking for an IT Intern to join the security team. This role provides an opportunity to practice skills in a banking environment while working alongside IT Security Analysts. You will contribute to the security program and gain hands-on experience with internal systems.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and report on controls related to the ICCU Security Program.
- Collaborate with the team to implement security best practices and risk-based requirements.
- Maintain and support the Splunk SIEM product.
- Monitor security systems as a first point of contact.
- Assist with security investigations and other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate student at an accredited university.
- Coursework focused on IT Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Ability to work during an agreed-upon schedule.
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift 20-40 pounds, and operate office equipment.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
- Preference given to those with Security+ certifications or experience with the Splunk SIEM product.

- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
