About the role#
The Accounts Payable department handles the processing and reconciliation of payments for providers, members, groups, and vendors. This co-op role provides hands-on experience in financial operations and allows for cross-functional collaboration. You will support daily operations by assisting with inquiries, researching payment issues, and contributing to both recurring tasks and special projects.
What you'll do#
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries through email and inquiry systems.
- Research and resolve address discrepancies while updating information in the payment system.
- Investigate and document returned claims.
- Support recurring operational tasks.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Junior, Senior, or recent graduate within one year of the start date.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Major in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Access to an Android or iOS device compatible with the Microsoft Authenticator app.
