    About the role#

    This co-op position offers entry-level engineers broad exposure to the design and development of medical devices. You will join the Systems Engineering team to support the innovation pipeline for wearable pump technology. You will work alongside experienced engineers to ensure our products are safe, effective, and meet the needs of users worldwide.

    What you'll do#

    • Work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals through the product lifecycle, including FDA and international clearance.
    • Participate in technical reviews, design sessions, and brainstorming meetings.
    • Draft requirements and risk documentation to maintain product safety.
    • Partner with Systems Engineers to test products, find bugs, and troubleshoot design issues.
    • Take part in engineering evaluations and data analysis reviews.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a BS program for biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
    • Experience with lab testing equipment and data analysis tools like Excel, Minitab, or MATLAB.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
    • A hands-on, inquisitive approach and a willingness to challenge existing designs.
    • Interest in mobile technologies, IoT, and BLE communications.
    • Previous co-op or internship experience is helpful.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

    • Modality: Hybrid.
    • Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 (January 11, 2027 to June 30, 2027).
    • Employment: Full-time, paid position.
